Malé, Maldives —The Maldives Industry Chamber (MIC) expressed appreciation to the President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu for meeting with small and medium-sized enterprises and listening to their grievances during a three-hour session held last night.
According to a statement from the Chamber, the President engaged directly with MIC members to hear their concerns and priorities in what was described as a constructive dialogue. The session, attended by business leaders, advisors, and well-wishers, provided an open platform for collaboration.
During the meeting, the President assured continued cooperation to address challenges facing the private sector and emphasized the importance of empowering Chamber members, highlighting their role in driving economic growth and strengthening resilience. He pledged to maintain regular engagement with MIC, including future meetings, to ensure sustained progress.
In the dialogue, attended by Chamber members, advisors, and well-wishers, the President committed to advancing reforms across seven policy areas raised by participants. Business leaders characterized the exchange as unusually open, noting his willingness to listen attentively and to promise ongoing cooperation.
